Falcons School for Girls announces sponsorship of local returning club, Barnes FC

We are incredibly excited to announce our sponsorship of returning local club , Barnes FC, who are set to make their comeback to the football scene at neighbouring Rosslyn Park this 2022/2023 Season.
Our support for the revival of this local historical team, demonstrates our commitment to pupil wellbeing and to helping drive gender equality through education, with sport being a key platform for change. We look forward to our girls benefiting from this sporting partnership, where we’ll enjoy coaching sessions and player visits.
The not-for-profit club, who took part in the first ever FA Cup in 1871-72, is setting out to create a family-friendly club and atmosphere, focusing on Youth Team Development and welcoming all ages of the local community to enjoy their matches and events.
The club is set to host Senior Team Trials on 14th May and 26th June and are welcoming our Falcons parents and guardians to head along to participate! The team will be playing in the Surrey & South-East Combination League.
Girls & Boys Youth Team Trials (U9, U11, U14 and U18) will follow throughout the summer with the view to the season kicking off in September, where Sunday morning training will be hosted at nearby Barn Elms.
