In February, our House Captains ran a Little Chefs healthy eating competition. Participants were tasked with producing a recipe for a nutritious vegetarian main and dessert. They had to consider how to keep salt and sugar content to a minimum while still ensuring the dishes were delicious!
Last week, the whole school were very lucky to be able to enjoy a flavour of all four girls’ meal ideas every day, with the little chefs themselves taking pride of place at the Chefs’ Table.
Our Head Girl was ultimately crowned the Head Chef with her delicious mozzarella and spinach pasta in a cream sauce and blueberry muffin for dessert. Of course, a big thank you must also go to our incredible catering team for ensuring that the whole school were able to try out all four meal ideas. We are hugely grateful to them for their wonderful food options everyday and for always serving us all with a smile!
