Congratulations to Nightingale who won the House Cup this term with a total of 1252 house points! Their house captain proudly collected the cup in on the last day before schools closed (20th March). Well done to you all for your effort and teamwork!
Children across the country have been getting artistic to create rainbows this week. It’s possible you may have seen them pop up in your neighbours’ windows already! The aim is to spread some light and hope in what is proving to be a confusing and difficult time for us all, and it’s certainly having a positive impact.
One of our girls and her siblings produced these beautiful rainbow designs to thank our country’s incredible keyworkers! While we may be working ‘in the cloud’, it’s certainly not all doom and gloom with these colours!
Last week, I “Zoomed” with the Nursery children and their parents.
We enjoyed singing Twinkle Twinkle, and I read the story, The Party.
In this photo, I am using a picture from our Feeling Chart to talk about how I feel today—excited! In Nursery, we talk about our feelings everyday and we know that it is okay to feel the way we do, whatever emotion that may be. We also know that feelings can change and that we should ask others how they are feeling too.
It was such a boost to see everyone and connect again!
