On Sunday 15th March, Falcons Girls joined forces with local schools and the Barnes community adult choir, Sing West, for an afternoon of singing fun at the Barnes Music Festival. The girls learnt songs from Oliver! with esteemed conductor and Artistic Director of the National Youth Choir, Ben Parry. The girls had the chance to sing with a live band and two exceptional soloists playing Nancy and Fagin. It was a wonderful afternoon of music and community spirit for all who sang and for those who came to watch the concert.

Last week, Falcons Girls hosted their first ever Science Fair. All staff were very impressed with the efforts that each child went to and there was some very well thought out presentations and posters. Prizes were given to a girl in each year group!

While none of us would choose for Friday (20th) to be the last day we are together in school this term, we find ourselves having to develop and adapt to a ‘new normal’. To celebrate the Falcons spirit – coincidentally on International Day of Happiness – all children and staff wore colourful or glittery clothes, and many opted for a vibrant combination of both! With Easter craft sessions indoors and creating their own games to play outdoors, the children highlighted just how wonderful Peregrines and Falcons are at teamwork and helping one another succeed. We hope it won’t be too long before we’re all back at school, working together both in and out of the classroom!
