Falcons Girls were extremely honoured to have the fabulously creative and wonderfully witty poet, Neal Zetter visit the school to run a series of workshops that kick started the English lessons this year. The girls had spent time in class giggling away as they shared his poems in preparation for his visit. At home they researched interesting facts about Neal to produce fact file posters for a competition to be judged by Neal himself. On the day of the visit the girls settled down quickly in anticipation as Neal gave dramatic readings of some of his most popular poems and also took many requests from the girls who were eager to share their favourites.
Neal then had the tough challenge of picking a winner and a runner up from both the Lower School and the Upper School poster competitions. Congratulations to the winners who both won a signed book and had their photo taken with Neal and the runners up who also won a signed book.
