Readathon at Falcons School for Girls

On Friday 3rd February, all girls took part in FSG’s very first charity Pyjama Readathon! Girls arrived at school dressed in their pyjamas and of course, with suitable coats for the season! During the afternoon, girls (and staff) joined in our Readathon. Each class was invited into a relaxing space with bean bags and cushions galore! Girls read their favourite book(s) (age and ability appropriate) for one whole hour (Year One and Two) and one and a half hours (Years Three-Six).

Teachers confirmed the number of pages each child read at the end of the day and a staggering total of £3,500 was collected for our Charity school in Cambodia, Hang Svart! An incredible amount, what a bunch of super speedy readers!
